Letters to Santa Paws

Dear Santa,

It's me, Moe.

I hope that this letter is not too late to get to you. I know that you are busy with your lists of wishes from all of earth's creatures. I will make this quick.

You know that this year has been difficult all over the world. People are out of work and have had to give up their furry friends because they could not care for them. I on the other paw am very lucky. I have a wonderful home and lots of food and treats. Please do not stop here this year. Give my gifts to those creatures who need it more.

Love,

Moe

Meow to you Santa,

It's me, Carmela.

Please pay extra attention to all the cats in the blogosphere. They have been very inspirational and many special cats have gone to the bridge this year. Give them all extra catnip in their stockings.

Have a great evening!

Carmela

Monday stuff

Dear Friends,

We apologize for the lack of posts. We had to keep our momma warm as she was icky-sicky all last week. She is better now and back to work for a few days before she is home with us for Santa Paws and the New Year.

We have received our secret paw gifts and will be sending ours our ASAP.

Finally Friday

Hello everyone!

We just wanted to extend our condolences to every family in the cat blogosphere who has lost a family member this year. We know how if feels and have found it hard to talk about. We still have not posted much about what Lucinda went through with her kidney disease. We will save that for another post. Now we want to offer you all some hope.

Someday, while you are still grieving, you will feel something brush against you, but there is no one around. Out of the corner of your eye, you will see the tip of a tail that vanishes. You will hear a familiar meow while you are in a place where there are no cats. If any of this happens to you, just clear your mind and understand that your cat, dog, person, is trying to let you know that it's okay to be sad, and that they are still with you.

Trust us. This happens.

Thoughts on Thursday

Hello everyone!

It's been quiet around our house. We have been doing our normal routine:

*wake up Momma at 5:00 AM for breakfast
*snuggle up in our warm bed
*leave buried treasure for Momma in the box
*trying to ignore the local news (it's hard when the scandal is on every local and national channel)
*begging for treats
*keep Daddy company during the day
*make sure that we get rested up for the nighttime games of pounce and chase
*think about our sweet Lucinda (we miss her very much)

Have a great day!

Moe and Carmela
