Friday with Moe

Hi everyfurry one!

I am reporting from my favorite pillow. When our housemate Lucinda was with us, all three of us would pile on this big old pillow. it was our favorite place to hang out. It's in the spare room now, and I sit by the door and ask to go in. Momma knows that we go in there to talk to to Lucinda's spirit. We find comfort in that room on that pillow.

Thankful Thursday!

Meow everyone!

I feel so happy that momma is at home today, that I've been running around the house singing. I sing about good food, fresh cool water, a clean box, all kinds of places to sleep, daddys scritches, and best of all:

air conditioning!

Momma laughs when she sees us trying to walk under the flow of air. We twist our bodies around it.

Well, its back to singing! Meeeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww!

Hi all you cool cats out there!

One of our Facebook friends commented on our names. I was part of a litter of three boys, so they named Moe. My brothers were named Larry and Curly. I was (and still am) a clown!

Carmela on the other paw was first named Scandelous. She is a scrappy little thing, but it was kind of an odd name to call her. If anything, they should have called her Aria or Sunny (based on her singing skills or her disposition.) Daddy looked at her nice carmel colored coat thought that Carmela was a great name for a little kitty.

That's our name story.

Wow! It's Wednesday!

Hey everybuddy, it's Carmela checking in. Our momma finally is letting us post. It's been a while, right Moe?

Yeah, that's right. Wait, while I clean your ears! That's better. Anyway, here is what we missed reporting:

New Years was quiet.

We got kisses on Valentine's day!

My gotcha day was March 2nd. I have been here for seven years!

Our daddy's birthday was March 23rd. He got lots of loves!

My birthday was on April 27th. I am 12 years old, but I act like a young kitty!

My gotcha day was May 1st, two months after Moe and Lucinda.

My birthday is coming up the end of the month. I think we are getting something new, but momma is not saying what it is.

We have been taking extra special care of momma, right Carmela?

Yes, my handsome hunk! We have been her study buddies, paper weights, and pen wranglers. We are glad that she finishes her studies this week. We will be helping her relax and get ready for her next course.

We promise new pictures and all the news from around the house!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful! It's snowing and yucky.

But in the house it's so delightful! We are snuggled up together on the big bed.

But since we have no place to go! Maybe the litter box or the food dish!

Thank you for all your kind words about catdaddy. He needs all the extra tlc that he can get. He has a new driver's license and we are getting other cards replaced. He is feeling better about it now.

The Grinch came to visit.

If anyone sees the grinch-like person who picked our catdaddy's pocket last Friday, please give him or her the bitey real good. We are very angry about this. Tell your humans to be careful when they are out. We don't want this to happen to any of our furriends.

It's good to be back!

Sunday service!

It's 8:30 in the morning. Moe and Carmela are waiting by their dishes. They have been trying for hours to get their humans attention. Finally, Moe attacks the toilet paper in the bathroom, and that is what gets someone up!

Moe: Hey! Can we get some service around here?

Carmela: Yeah, we're hungry!

Catmomma: (a bit peeved at finding fang marks in the TP) Good morning, I'm Catmomma and I will be your server today. What can I get for you?

Moe: Some turkey and duck. Mashed really well. And some fresh water. Make it quick, or Carmela will put the bitey on the paper towels!

They got their morning meal, and much to the delight of Catmomma, they settled down for a nap and the toilet paper and paper towels were safe for another few hours!

P.S. Catmomma has just finished her first online course towards her Master's Degree. She has time off until January, so we will be more active.

I usually roll over in front of momma or daddy for tummy rubs. They find my soft belly furs irresistable, so they have to stop and love me up!

Hi everyone!

Momma says that it's hot outside. We don't care! We have chilled air! Our water is cool and we go into the bathroom and lay on the floor. We all stayed around the house this weekend. Our beans only went out to the store and that was in the evening. Even then, Momma said that it was really sticky and warm. She said we should be glad that we aren't outdoor kitties. We are glad. Especially since we would have to catch our own dinners!

We are back and we have a lot to say!

We've missed all our friends and are happy to be back. It took a lot of purrsuading to get momma back to work, but we know how to charm her.

Finally Friday!

Hi everycat!



We got a visit from Tabbymom last Sunday. She drove in from up north to meet momma and other cat bloggers. She was furry nice and gave us lots of pats and scritches. We, in turn gave her lots of purrs and some of our furs! Momma had a lot of fun meeting some really cool people. She didn't take a lot of pictures, but here is some meerkats "resting" after some afternoon fun!

Easy like Sunday!

This is our Sunday eating schedule:

5:00 AM breakfast (I jump on the bed and yell at mom!)
12:00 PM lunch (Carmela yells at daddy.)
3:00 PM snacktime (we both yell for this.)
6:00 PM din-din (we take turns on this one.)
9:00 PM more food (whoever feels hungry!)
12:00 AM even more food (Carmela needs here energy for her 3:00 am patrol.)

P.S. We only get fed moist food with a smattering of moist treats. Our coats are shiney and we are very fit. We don't miss dried food at all. Momma gets the best for us because she doesn't want us to get sick like Lucinda.
